Situated in the bustling center of Beirut, the interior evokes the refinement of Haussmanian apartments. Pure lines and modern accents define the architecture. Plaster moldings, wall treatments and herringbone solid wood flooring are designed to bring in a classical French feel. The reception space is created around a pure volume serving both dining and living areas and hiding multi functions: fireplace + TV cabinet + bookcase + bar cabinet
Modern materials and new textures are meticulously selected. The classical French style furniture pieces are revisited with fashionable modern fabrics and bold colors.

Apartment design.
Located in the heart of the capital and nestled on the 12th floor, the space opens on panoramic views of Beirut’s central district. Very little elements, pure architectural lines, and a refined lighting study, show off the elegance and simplicity of this contemporary design. From the entrance, the lighting and the ceiling guide you to a sculpture that reflects the harmony in this house. Two pure wooden volumes are the backdrops for the reception area. Each one of them serving different areas and functions in the house.
In the same spirit another wooden volume hosts a double-sided fireplace and delineates the different living areas adding warmth and coziness to the space. The modern furniture selection is light in color and rich in textures enhancing the peaceful atmosphere.

Apartment renovation and design.
Readdressing the spatial organization in order to optimize space, circulation and functionality. By removing the existing partitions between the living area and the balcony, and installing a dramatic floor to ceiling glass and metal façade with sliding doors, the architecture takes an urban and modern edge. An incredible amount of daylight floods in and gives the interior a feel of warmth and comfort. The space is outlined with big, simple and sleek lines.
The use of dark black metal and black lacquered wood enhances the luminosity of the space and shows off the light oak wood used and the simple white walls. The material and color schemes blend in creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Residence design and renovation. Old fifties building nestled in a wild garden. Total redistribution of the architectural space.
Construction of new spaces: kitchen + reception area + mezzanines + bedroom. Creation of new functions: outdoor pool and lounges + painting studio. Fluid circulation and constant communication with garden. Bringing nature and daylight indoor to this interior.
Imposing elements and structures in metal gives the space an industrial feel that blends perfectly with the pure lines of the architecture and the minimalistic furniture selection. The mix of raw and soft materials creates a poetic combination. High ceilings, modern lighting and repetitive large windows give generous luminosity to this project and contribute to the comfortable atmosphere.
